The Office of
a Teacher
It’s time for the Church to return to the biblical governmental
pattern that Christ himself laid out for the body of Christ, for the
perfecting of the saints.
Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of
God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ:
In the scripture above we see all
five of the five fold ministry offices listed in order of their rank of
authority.
The Gift of Teacher is an anointing from God that stirs a person to help others understand God's truths.Teachers have hearts for people, and it troubles them to see others in bondage due to misunderstanding God's principles.
Teachers who are burdened with the needs of people, and hence motivated from their hearts to teach, that are called and amointed by God. Only those with such a heart have the Holy Spirit's power flowing through their teachings. The anointing breaks yokes off listeners, freeing them from Satan's lies and world's deceptions.
Anointed teachers are not those who just teach doctrines or impart knowledge, but they are individuals who, by explaining God's truths, set people free of sin, natural limitions, depression, fear, anxiety, and other bondages. A naturally gifted teacher may be able to explain to a person why that person sins and what the Bible has to say about the sin, but a teacher who is spiritually gifted releases power through that gift to set the listeners free. The Spirit of truth (John 12:17), who sets people free (John 8:32),works with and through the Spirit-anointed teacher.
